Adding banner to your blog can be useful to promote your own product or generate revenue from advertising
you can add banner at the top of page by following these simple steps

1:find an advertising banner code
2:sign into blogger and click theme in sidebar>>edit html click "jump to widget" and select header1
3:Click anywhere in code area and Find "Maxwidget" then change its value to 2
4:find "showaddelement" and change its value as yes and save theme..now you have another element at the top of your blog to add banner
5:now click "Layout" click "add a widget" that you just created And in pop window select "java scrip/HTML" and finally paste you code in description area click save
you are done

You can also replace header with banner image
select layout then click edit link in header element then browse your image and save settings
